Services that the Window and Door Manufacturers Association can provide you:

• Involvement in the WDMA-BC Technical Meetings
• General membership dinner meetings per year, to keep you up to date on what the Board of Directors has been working on, as well as provide you with an opportunity to hear an informative guest speaker.
• An annual Golf Tournament

As a WDMA-BC member you:

• Have a voice in determining the WDMA-BC’s goals and activities
• Strengthen the WDMA-BC’s ability to liaise with the government on issues facing the industry.
• Receive information on changes to legislation affecting the industry
• Become an active participant in improving your own future (instead of having the Government dictate the future direction of the industry!)
• Have access to the Association’s library

WDMA-BC's Accomplishments

• We have developed a good working relationship with the Building Inspectors Association of BC and together have created a window labeling program to continue to promote quality window and door products.
• We were invited by the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources to have a representative of the Association serve on the Energy Houses Technical Committee.  This committee recommended ER numbers which they felt were appropriate for the BC Region.
• We have developed a good working relationship with the utilities and are working with them to develop better standards.
• We have developed a good working relationship with Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada, the company which oversees the new home warranty program.
