Membership in the Window and Door Manufacturers Association of BC is based on the following categories. Click here for membership application.

Manufacturing Member

This membership category is for corporations, partnerships, companies or individual proprietorships who are actively engaged in the manufacturing of windows and doors in British Columbia.  A Manufacturing Member shall be entitled to one (1) vote at the provincial association, to be cast by its duly designated representative in all matters presented to the membership of the Society.

Pre-hung Door Manufacturing Member

This membership category is for corporations, partnerships, companies or individual proprietorships who are actively engaged in the business of manufacturing pre-hung doors, who have a plant for the prefabrication of pre-hung doors, and who supply to the BC market.  A Pre-hung Door Manufacturing Member shall be entitled to one (1) vote at the provincial association to be cast by its duly designated representative in all matters presented to the membership of the Society.

Affiliate Manufacturer Member

This membership category is for corporations, partnerships, companies or individual proprietorships who are actively engaged in the manufacturing of windows and doors outside the province of British Columbia.  An Affiliate Manufacturing Member shall be entitled to one (1) vote at the provincial association to be cast by its duly designated representative in all matters presented to the membership of the Society.

Supplier Member 

This membership category is for corporations, partnerships, companies or individual proprietorships who are suppliers of the principal components, equipment, and services to Manufacturing Members.  A Supplier Member shall be entitled to one (1) vote at the provincial association to be cast by its duly designated representative in all matters presented to the membership of the Society.

Associate Member                                                                     

This membership category is for corporations, partnerships, companies or individual proprietorships who share interests in common with the window and door manufacturing industry in BC, but who are not manufacturers or suppliers of material or services to the industry.  Each Associate Member shall be entitled to one (1) vote at the provincial association to be cast by its duly designated representative in all matters presented to the membership of the Society.

Retired Member                                                                          

Retired members may be either fully or partly retired.  This is a non-voting category.

Cooperating Member                                                                

This is an individual membership.  This person can be a member of the association as long as they are not employed by a company that is eligible for membership.
