Synopsis
The Glazing Contractors Association of BC (GCABC) and Window and Door Manufacturers Association of BC (WDMA) held their 20th annual golf tournament yesterday, May 19, at the two Arnold Palmer designed courses featured at Surrey, BC’s Northview Golf & Country Club.
Over 187 glazing contractors, suppliers, consultants and window & door manufacturers attended the hugely successful event where sponsors CP Distributors, Vitrum Industries, PFG Glass, Quanex Building Products, Starline Windows, Finishing Trades Institutes of BC, Flynn Canada, Gienow Windows & Doors, Guardian Industries, Oasis Windows, Tremco and over 30 hole sponsors donated two 50” plasma TVs, an iPad2, two Wii’s, two Xboxes, two PS3s and 187 pre-paid Visa cards. Platinum sponsor Cardinal IG also presented the grand prize of a set of premium Calloway golf clubs to Seth Maretz, Sales Manager of National Glass.
The golfers were treated with a beautiful day and feedback from the membership and sponsors was very positive. The GCABC/WDMA board members wish to congratulate all the winners and thank all of the volunteers, participants, sponsors and supporters of the event.
